We are seeing so many talented content creators saving clips from all their platforms on CLIPKICK. Many times we think “They should be making shows on Television.” Well, we are doing something about it!

At CLIPKICK one of our missions is to increase exposure for the work of content creators and help them reach the next level. So we are giving our content creators the chance to get in front of some truly influential industry execs we know in Los Angeles.

 

MEET THE PROFESSIONALS

 

Jessica Boucher

 

 

Jessica Boucher is the Director of Development for TV Executive Producer, Greer Shephard (Nip/Tuck, The Closer, Longmire). Their production company has an overall deal with WBTV to create and produce scripted series for cable, premium cable, and streaming platforms, with projects currently in development at Amazon and NBCU.

 

Ruthanne Secunda

 

Former veteran talent agent and Television producer, Ruthanne Secunda, has represented an impressive roster of talent which includes Julie Bowen, Lucy Liu, Lucy Hale, Piper Perabo, Jerry O’Connell, Leslie Bibb, Taye Diggs, Ioan Gruffudd, Poppy Montgomery and Marcia Gay Harden and, as a TV Producer, is known for ABC Studios International’s 13-episode summer series “Reef Break” and “BH90210” the Beverly Hills 90210 Reboot for FOX Television.

 

Lauren Williams

 

Lauren Williams is a talent manager at Echo Lake Entertainment and represents clients such as
Italia Ricci (“Designated Survivor”), Eris Baker (“This is Us”) and Dan Liu (Dir. “The Walking Dead”). As a producer, Lauren has numerous shows in development at studios including Apple, and 20th Century Fox and represents Forbes Magazine for film and television. Lauren has served on the board of Women in Film since 2013.

 

Walid Chaya

 

Walid Chaya is an award-winning director-actor based in Los Angeles. Walid can be seen in “Madam Secretary” (CBS), “Blacklist: Redemption” (NBC), “The Looming Tower” (Hulu) and opposite Jamie Bell in the feature “Skin” directed by Oscar-Winner Guy Nattiv. He is a member of SAG-AFTRA and the Stage Directors Choreographer Society. Walid is an alumni of The American Theatre Wing’s, founder by the Tony® Awards, SpringBoardNYC directors program.

HOW TO ENTER:

Entering the contest is FREE.

  1. Use the button below to download the free CLIPKICK app (available on iOS and Android). You MUST use this provided link to download the app so you can also be entered into the contest.

  2. Create a profile on the CLIPKICK app. Make sure to include a profile picture. You can also connect your social platforms so people can find and follow you on your other platforms.

  3. Add at least one “Lineup” to your profile with videos featuring your content creation skills. Lineups are “playlists” for videos. Include clips from different platforms (you can save from all the major platforms).

  4. Create one curated Lineup of clips other than your own that show your style and what you enjoy.

  5. Post a photo of yourself on Instagram, IN ACTION – A STILL FROM ONE OF YOUR CLIPS OR YOU CREATING CONTENT**. Add the caption “I entered the CLIPKICK Content Creator Contest.”  Tag @Clipkick.tv and add the hashtag #clipkickcreatorcontest. If you already have a CLIPKICK account you will be officially entered if you have posted this photo. Please update your account with your latest clips.

    **When posting and tagging the contest image, stories don’t count. We need to be able to see the hashtag on the day the contest is over. We will be checking everyone’s profiles before we choose a winner! Your account cannot be private.

Post a picture of yourself, in action, creating content. Post on Instagram**, Facebook, and/or Twitter. Caption “I entered the CLIPKICK Content Creator Contest” Tag @Clipkick.tv and add the hashtag #clipkickcreatorcontest*.

CLIPKICK will review all lineups and videos in your profile. 20 winners will have all of their clips reviewed by the judges!

  • You can include clips from any platform, Youtube, Instagram, TikTok, Vimeo, IMDB, anything that showcases your content creator skills and personality. The more variety the better!
  • You can add as many lineups as you wish with videos from anywhere online. Please bookmark videos individually to the app. Bookmarks to pages that contain multiple videos are harder to review and will not qualify.
  • *When posting and tagging the contest image, stories don’t count. We need to be able to see the hashtag on the day the contest is over. We will be checking everyone’s profiles before we choose a winner! Your account cannot be private.
  • Need help creating a lineup? CLICK HERE.
  • How do I know if my entry was received? Once you have downloaded the CLIPKICK app using the link above, added at least one “Lineup” to your profile, and posted your contest image to social media with the proper tag and #hashtag, your entry will be automatically received and you do not need to take any further action. After the 2000th submission, this contest will automatically close and updates will be posted on this webpage.

DEADLINE: December 24th, 2020 at 11:59PM PST. Only the first 2000 submissions will be reviewed. Finalists will be notified by new years eve 2020 and announced on the CLIPKICK App.

When you find a video you like ANYWHERE online, just click “Share” on your phone and save it to CLIPKICK. Then watch and share your unique collections right from the APP. Content creators use CLIPKICK to consolidate their videos from all platforms in one place, share the account links, and grow their audience.

The “Content Creators Spotlight Contest” is sponsored by CLIPKICK.TV (“Sponsor”). This contest is governed by these official rules (“Official Rules”). By participating in the contest, each entrant agrees to abide by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements and understands that the results of the contest, as determined by Sponsor and its agents, are final in all respects. The contest is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.

 

ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open to legal residents of their respective countries where not prohibited by law, who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry who have Internet access and a valid e-mail account prior to the beginning of the Contest Period. Sponsor has the right to verify the eligibility of each entrant.

 

CONTEST PERIOD and SUBMISSIONS LIMIT
The Contest begins at October 27, 2020 Noon PST and ends December 24th, 2020, 11:59PM PST. (“Contest Period”). All entries (submissions) must be received on or before the time stated during that submission period. Only the first 2000 submissions will be reviewed. Sponsor reserves the right to extend or shorten the contest period or submissions limit at their sole discretion.

HOW TO ENTER
You can enter the Contest by following instructions posted on the Sponsor website. You can find the application for free download in the App Store or Google Play. Entrants must fill out all required fields when creating a CLIPKICK profile, enter a profile picture, post the CLIPKICK contest image on social media as specified to participate in the contest. After submitting the required information on the profile form, the entrant will be able to bookmark videos the feature their work and work that they like from any platform to playlists called “lineups.” You may create as many “lineups” as you wish. Video clips should come from a variety of platforms (Youtube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Vimeo etc.) To enter the contest, individuals must use the provided link in the contest instructions to download the app and create a profile. Individuals can enter the Contest only one time through their main profile.

WINNER SELECTION
CLIPKICK will review all contestants’ profile Line-Ups in search for the top twenty CLIPKICK content creator profiles. The four industry professionals providing the grand prize private meet-and-greets will review the top twenty finalists and choose the top three winners. The twenty finalists will be awarded the second prize. Participants and profiles will be judges on three factors: 1) experience – the production and entertainment value of the content presented 2) special skills – the unique attributes that make the content creator stand-out, including their taste in content and 3) the “it” factor – a combination of training, experience, and natural talent that makes the content creator special.

The winners will be announced on or about December 31, 2020 on or about noon PST. Announcement and instructions for prize will be sent to the e-mail address supplied on the potential prize winner’s CLIPKICK account profile. Each entrant is responsible for monitoring his/her e-mail account for prize notification and receipt or other communications related to this Contest. If a potential prize winner cannot be reached by Administrator (or Sponsor) within two (2) days, using the contact information provided at the time of entry, or if the prize is returned as undeliverable, that potential prize winner shall forfeit the prize. By entering the contest entrants grant permission fo CLIPKICK to share their full name and email address with the judges listed above in order for the judges to make industry related communications and arrange one one one calls and meetings with the entrants. Upon the request of the Sponsor, the potential winner may be required to return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release & Prize Acceptance Form. If a potential winner fails to comply with these official rules, that potential winner will be disqualified. The winners will permit CLIPKICK to feature their profiles on the app and CLIPKICK website. Prizes may not be awarded if an insufficient number of eligible entries are received.

Sponsor reserves the right to terminate, suspend or amend the Contest, without notice, and for any reason, including, without limitation, if Sponsor determines that the Contest cannot be conducted as planned or should a virus, bug, tampering or unauthorized intervention, technical failure or other cause beyond Sponsor’s control corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper play of the Contest. In the event any tampering or unauthorized intervention may have occurred, Sponsor reserves the right to void suspect entries at issue. Sponsor and its respective parent, affiliate and subsidiary companies, agents, and representatives, and any telephone network or service providers, are not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human error, technical malfunction, lost or delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, line failure or malfunction of any telephone network, computer equipment or software, the inability to access any website or online service or any other error, human or otherwise.

 

INDEMNIFICATION AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
